MOVIE

Today we took the 2 older kids to go see the above movie. It's a great movie for that age group. There were some very cheesy parts, like most of Brendan Fraser's movies these days, but it was still entertaining enough and the scenery was very cool. I had never read that book growing up but know that it's a classic and could see Disneyland making a ride out of it. Good movie for tweens and the young at heart.

PLOT SYNOPSIS: A science professor whose radical theories have completely tarnished his reputation. While backpacking across Iceland with his nephew Sean, the two explorers find a cave that leads them deep down into the bowels of the planet. And so they go on a quest to find out what has happened to the scientist's missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discovers a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth. There they discover a bizarre landscape filled with terrifying creatures.
