HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

This flag is in a nearby town. It's extremely large and has raised quite a bit of controversy and the picture doesn't do it justice. It was flowing so pretty on my way home the other night I circled around the block so I could take a picture of it.

I love the 4th of July. I think I prefer it over Christmas. Going to the parade, lighting fireworks, watching fireworks. The warm weather (hopefully), the bbq's and block party's neighbors are having. The real patriotic feel. Seeing men and boys remove their hats when the flag is marched through the parade. Thinking about the soldiers over there right this very moment protecting our country.

And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

It's a high school prom
It's a springstein song
It's a ride in a chevrolet
It's a man on the moon
And fireflies in June
Kids sellin lemonade
It's cities and farms
And open arms
One nation under god
It's america
